FAMILY RAISES ALARM OVER PLANS TO COVER UP MURDER OF 47 YRS OLD ESTATE AGENT ,1 OTHER IN OGUN

Two people,including a 47- year- old father of eight children ,Kamoru Anifowose have been killed in the Abatiwa community in the Agbowa area of Odogbolu Local Government of Ogun State .
Already the Ogun State Ministry of Justice has intensified its intention to ensure proper investigation and ensure that the killers face the full wrath of the law
A gang of over fifty armed men had reportedly last Friday invaded the community in 1 Toyota Hilux ,5 Sienna Space buses and multiple motorcycles to unleash mayhem on the residents
The deceased Anifowose , an estate agent ,was shot and slaughtered with axes and matchetes and his two wrists severed and taken away while the other person , simply identified as Akibu was shot ,while trying to escape .
Nine persons, including the prime suspect ,simply identified as Sesan has been arrested by the police in connection with the killings .
Meanwhile the family of he deceased persons have raised the alarm over the release of one of the arrested suspects (Sesan )
The family called on the state governor ,Prince Dapo Abiodun ,the state Attorney General and the police commissioner in the state C P Frank Mba to ensure that justice is allowed to prevail .
An eye witness to the incident Yinka Baale told newsmen that ” We were in the village around 8:15pm and about to take our dinner ,when they came .”
“I saw a Toyota Hilux and we thought that they were policemen .But when they hot to where we were sitting ,I saw Sir K and Sesan “
He also continued that ” Suddenly they started shooting . People escaped but they were able to hold on to three of us .”
” They began with Kamoru and started shooting at him .When they realize that the bullets were not penetrating ,they began to use axes and matchetes on him .”
Baale also said ” While they descended on Kamoru ,Akibu made attempts to escape and he was shot in the abdomen and in the neck .I also ran into the bush .They also shot at me but I escaped .
One of the wives of the slain Kamoru ,Mrs Latifat Anifowose told journalists that “The governor and the public should not let my husband die in vain .The killers are known and they have been arrested “
“He went to work to cater for his family but now they have killed him .I leant that o e of those who killed him has been released and that he has been boasting that nobody can arrest him .”
The woman added that ” Eye witnesses at he scene said that they saw Sir K ,Mukaila Actor ,Sesan others . These people should not kill my husband in vain .”
The widow added that ” The police at Eleweran should treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves I heard that the IPO is planning to release other killers of my husband”
Efforts to speak with the image maker in charge of the state police command ,Abimbola Oyeyemi failed as calls to his mobile phone lines were not answered as at the time of filing these reports.
